| Thallus pale fawn, thin, smooth, glossy. Ascomata conspicuous, numerous, crowded, immersed to semi-immersed, curved and sinuous, sometimes branched, 1.5–4.0 mm long, 0.1–0.2 mm wide; lips closed, sometimes opening slightly. Proper exciple completely carbonised. Hymenium 100–120 µm thick, inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, transversely 6–8-locular, 25–32 × 6–8 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Stictic acid (major), norstictic acid (minor), constictic acid (trace). |
